GOD SENDS ME AN ANGEL
God sends me an angel each time I cry,
An angel who waits, while each teardrop dries.
An angel who helps me to get through the night,
When my mind is a jumble, and full of fright.
God sends me an angel, to guide me along,
When He knows that I do not feel very strong.
An angel to guard me through my latest storm,
Who takes me to shelter, and keeps me warm.
God sends me an angel, when I can't see,
All of the good He has waiting for me.
An angel to show me what I'm doing wrong,
When my heart is in tatters, and has no song.
God sends me an angel, to help me each day,
And to remind me that God hears me pray.
My angel has told me one thing I forgot,
That God really loves me, and I should FEAR NOT.
God sends me an angel, to show me His power,
To help me get through, what is my darkest hour.
An angel who says, "There is no need for doubt,
God sent me to you, now let's work it out."
