ANOTHER PAGE FROM SONJA
BEYOND FOREVER
Far beyond forever there's a space reserved for me,
A place of beauty that's without compare.
When I enter Heaven I will be at home once more,
And I will see my loved ones waiting there.
Bitter moments in my life will pass away as dust,
But the sweetest of my memories will remain.
Moments that I treasured will still be there for me,
Forgotten is all anger, hurt and pain.
If only I could see my way to have that here and now,
Instead of waiting for that other shore.
Imagine just how great my life would be for me today,
If there never was a reason to keep score.
Beyond forever is a place we all look forward to,
And yet how pleasant all our lives would be;
If only we would try to live as if that's where we were,
But instead we seem to cling to misery.
The clock is ticking while we sit and let it pass us by,
Complaining that we wish our lives would change.
When there are so many ways to alter what we do,
But the fact we don't seems just a little strange.
We all are promised paradise for living by the word,
And yet it seems so very hard to do.
But I intend to get there so I have to work toward that,
And beyond forever I will wait for you.
