BLAMELESS
I've often wondered why things go wrong,
And if I am the cause of it all.
If maybe there's something I should have done,
That might have prevented my fall.
I guess there will always be something I miss,
But that doesn't mean I'm to blame.
Though everyone makes a mistake now and then,
There's no need to keep feeling shame.
I am not perfect, of that I am sure.
But then again neither are you.
My errors are lessons to help me along,
To search for a new point of view.
When I observe life in a positive way,
No matter how things may appear;
I watch as all of my problems decrease,
And my way once again becomes clear.
God never leaves me alone in the dark,
He brightens the road that I'm on.
So all of the cynical thoughts I've had,
No longer exist, poof they're gone.
